could it be throttle body????

it dosnt cut out when driving it it just dosnt let me drive over 3000 revs. and the limp mode light comes on when i just put my foot down and when i ease off the throttle the light then comes on and runs bit ropey

my 51 plate clio sport 172 keeps going into limp mode? iv replaced the throttle pedal and sensor which is ment to be a common fault?? its had a stage 1 remap not long ago could it be sumit to do with that? or is there anything else i can check??:dapprove:
