Coming along nicely. Like the rear tow strap design, need something like that for mine. I run used slicks now find them a lot quicker than semi slicks on track and gripper once warm. Only takes a lap to get heat in them and very cheap second hand as I runs 15s on mine.
Obviously as mentioned above my Clio has a different turbo engine in it, but a surprised it’s not as quick as M3? May be power it running as mine was 250bhp & 400nm of torque very low down before fitting bigger boost pipes now its around 300bhp with boost still capped around 400nm and easily...
Depends on the cooling for sure, mine has a 20v turbo of an Audi TT in it and when the previous owner did the conversion he cut loads of holes in front bumper, my intercooler is a lot bigger than this threads one and I don’t even have an oil cooler, but engine never over heats and I can do...
I agree with this my Clio has a 1.8turbo 20valve and the matching VW box fitted but the quaife easily copes with 300bhp and 400nm torque. Gripper are A lot more and need servicing every year! If fast road etc and occasional track is definitely get a blackline
Welcome to the group both look like fun I used to have a mk7 golf R that I took on track now have a clio with VW 1.8 turbo engine in and A very fast tesla as my daily car
