When the engine is running after a while and I put the gear in neutral when...

£7500, which is what I advertised it for in the for sale section of this site. There were, and still are loads of 172 Cups for sale at the momment, so I had to be realistic and consider this when pricing it. Given its condition I think I could of put the price closer to £8K, but I wanted a quick...

WHAT HAVE I DONE? LOOK AT IT! I...
What engine/bhp are they putting in this? Renault better make sure the bhp per tonne and subsequent performance is at least equal to that of the 172s and 182s or no one is going to buy one. It looks bigger than the 172/182, the interior looks to be of a better quality which means its heavier...
26, 3 years NCB, No points.
£499 with Admiral this year
£740 last year with Norwich Union.
£980 the year before that with Norwich Union.
It really does start coming down once you hit 25 and your NCB starts building up.

That was the 182. Vicky Butler-Henderson did the review of the Mk2 172, a silver one I think. It was compared with the Seat Leon Cupra.
There used to be an unofficail site with all the old topgear reviews but it was taken down last time I looked
Pic of my Cup and two friends M3s.

Lets just say the drive there...
Just had two parking dents removed from my Cup. The work was done by a chap called Bernard from DentPlus. I can honestly say ive never received such good service before - the guy is a gentleman and the finished result is fantastic - its like the dents were never there!:D...
From what ive read coilovers are the ones to get - but I just cant afford them at the momment. I cant save up and wait cos those big old Massey Ferguson arches on my Cup are driving me nuts! lol!
Its going to have to be just springs for now - cant seem to decide to go for the Eibach Pros or...
Depends how much you want to spend? + Are you bothered for aircon, leather xenons etc etc?
If not get a 172 Cup / 182 Cup
A new 182 with both Cup packs would be nice, but youll loose loads in deprication.
If you want the extras/toys have you looked at a used 172/182?
Your budget seems...
I think coilovers are going to be too expensive. :(
Having read some previous posts on this topic I can see the options are now as follows:
1.) Eibach Pro springs - subtle drop of 20mm but improved handaling
2.) Eibach sportline springs - greater drop of 40-50mm, but handaling not as well...
I dont know squat about modifying the suspension on cars, got a few questions about coilovers and am generally looking for some advice - I know they improve the way the car looks, but dont understand much about what / how it improves handling and ride etc etc.
Is the handling that much...
Was it the driver who opened their door onto your car? If it was the driver of the other car is responsible and liable for the damge to your car - even better if you have independent witnesses who are willing to give statements as this would be suitable evidence to provide in a small claims...
Is the water coming in between the door and over the plastic trim to the left of the passenger footwell?
I had this problem - took Renault 3 times to get it fixed! I had to park with the drivers side on the kerb to stop the passenger footwell flodding for 3 months when it rained hard. lol...
scoobytyper26, save those pics if you want to keep them. I posted them for Sam while he was selling the car but need to delete them to free up some space - let me know when youve backed them up. cheers :)
