Received the adapters really quick, very good job done by Jon in designing these adapters! Clio doesn't feel like driving a delivery truck any longer, seating position vastly improved and very easy to install. If you want to feel like having more control and want a racing bucket...
Unless you're OK to cut a small section in the top and bottom half cases (because of the protrusions for the screw each side of the lens) and rotate the lens 90 degrees. The flex cable might be a little short then (not sure) but 5cm extension is available that can fit in the case. There should...

Spax damper adjustment doesn't work on one side, one damper stays on soft pulling on this side under braking?
Edit: Never mind, didn't see you swapped strut which made no difference
Take the wheel off and take a look at the other side... This side is easy as they can (normally...) see what they're doing, the other side may be worse...
There's no answer to that. Any 15" wheel will fit providing you use thick enough spacer to clear the inside rib and have the caliper sit in the increased diameter pass the rib. Then, you can as I did grind the top of the caliper to clear the rib (I use 5mm thick spacer to clear the spokes and...
Exactly 11mm needs to be 11.8.
As for the 5mm, this design puts the mounting face 18.5mm away from the bolt center (33-14.5), if you do it like shown, it will translate to 7.5mm machining on the calipers. 7mm should be best as the dimensions I gave above may put the pads just a tad below the...
There's no definite answer. Caliper needs to be machined 5mm if height from bracket fixing bolt center to caliper mounting face is 16mm. If height is 18mm for instance, caliper needs 7mm machining. Most ready made bracket will be 16mm though so 5mm need to be shaved off the caliper.
Caliper...
Don't know if your pictures are your latest fitment but you pads retaining pins are not seated properly, they should protude a lot more on the pointed side to be secured.
They may fit as your wheels will be a lot farther away than mine. You may just need a little filing of the caliper or just machine an addtionnal 2mm off the caliper seating faces or a little bit of both.
If you use original disks, the edge of the pads should be just above the outer edge of the disk but it does not really matter as it will only be 1 or 2mm above, it would be spot on if you use 282 or 283mm disk and drum. This is why I gave my measurements cause not all adapters are made equal...
Well.... NO.
Projection of the adapters fixing screw holes and the caliper fixing bolts intercept. The distance between the screw axis and the Brembo seating surface is 21mm on the 300 adapter which leaves enough meat to thread a hole and use a bolt (21 - 6 (half a M12 screw) = 15mm of thread...
Drilling with a 8mm drill bit will just shatter the head off releaving force on the threads. You then remove the disk which is 7mm thick at that location and just unscrew the threaded part by hand (no more pressure from the threads and 7mm protusion to hold it). If threadlock was used (not a...
Thought I should jump in :approve:
Depending on the adapters and calipers, Clio 2118s "may" fit with slight filing off the calipers... it all depends on how the adapters are made and the calipers machined. On my setup my adapters measure 15.5mm between M12 fixing bolts axis to brembo seating...
English not being my mother language, I'm not used to easily read english in text format so I had to read it out loud to (sort of) understand it (and it sounded very funny to bystanders ;-))... It sure is not the sort of description that would make me buy it...
For the reg, I sort of understood...
This is exactly it, disconnect 1 sensor (1 is enough), ABS will default but unit still powered and you'll keep brake bias, remove the fuse and it will default to 50/50 bias.
The top mount doesn't fit right and rattles because you mix-matched new style integrated spacer/nut with old style top. The old style configuration had a spacer then a small 17mm nut, the old style top rubber stop has a metal cup insert underneath that covers that 17mm hex nut. Using the new...
I don't know about others but here's what I did:
1. Get a left stick from the junkyard from a pre-2001 Clio RS or any Clio with fog lights (horn on the stick)
2. Wire the center insert (normally used for horn) to CC main connector (with 1kohm resistor in line (this is the "R" switch...
Well, you can but not use the harnesses and the back seat at the same time. You can buy some road harnesses that can disconnect behind the seat. When you want the use the rear seats, you disconnect your harness and use the belt instead.
Yes you can, the wheel is the same, the CC switches are just held by one screw each so you can transfer them to your non-equipped wheel. You will have to transfer the airbag as well though has yours has the side cut outs to fit the switches if you had planned replacing the airbag as well of...
