WOW just looked on net and most people are asking £6500 to £7250 for 2000 MK1 172 with more miles then 2002 MK2 172 that start for £7500 with v low miles. These people are very! optimistic asking for that much.

Yeh agree with you there MK1 are rare, I think i will have to have a look at one properly, though looking at prices on the net people seem to be asking a lot for them when you can spend a little more and get a mk2 172.

Hi looking at possibly getting a 172 clio and wanted to know from people on here who have owned them or BOTH, which one is better to go for. I havent driven either yet. Wanted it to be reliable and fun to drive. Not having creature comforts doesnt bother me as iv had a 16v for 3 yrs. MK1...

Does anybody know what type of exhaust system the clio cup race cars use? or are they custom made by renaultsport when the clio cup race cars are built?

Was just reading some old threads and the Cup Turini speedlines look the nuts on the 16v. Though for a blue valver would they look better in silver or gold? What people think.

Thanks, they look really nice. Just another question, would the 16" wheels as above sit under the rear arch without rubbing, just that on my valver my arch is level with the top of the 15" phase 2 rims i wouldnt want the arches rolled etc... Looks like the spokes stick out a bit from the rims...

What is the quality like? i was thinkin of gettin the 15 inch and then gettin my rubber of my old phase 2 on these to keep price down. Do you have any pictures you could upload of ur 16v with these on so can get a better idea???

Has anybody here purchased PRIMA Replica williams wheels for their valver? Found their website but dont really have any good pics. Are PRIMA reliable, good service?????? Paul

i guess if it would looked good in white somebody would of done it by now LOL. I like the TOORA T690 in white the multispoke design they look the bulls.

Coming down main road bout 1 min from my house and idiot driver pulls out of side road and straight into the valver. Not much damage to her car as it was a volvo they are built like tanks only smashed her light. My drivers front corner light all smashed out and pushed back the front quater...

Does anybody have a contact telephone number for HIC insurance, mine is due for renewal at the end of the month so shopping around for the best quote. Iv heard they are meant to be really good.

Iv got a janspeed S1 (stainless steel) from cat back on my valver and is a good system. Iv then got the K-tec decat (unsilenced) which believe me is loud enough, specially if you do motorway journeys and you wanna listen to your tunes. Depends how loud you want your system at the end of the day.

Im getting a de cat for my valver but im not sure whether to get the K-tec unsilicenced one or BB Tuning one. Any help would be great. Paul

cheers, its M plate 1995 with 75K, iv got Janspeed S1 system from CAT back and lowered on -35 Pi springs and torsion bar matched. Everything else is still standard. You happy with the work done on ur valver does it drive much better?

Hi Im looking at doing some engine mods on my valver but im not sure where to start. Iv been looking at the KTR CAMSHAFT KITS WITH POWER CHIP mod which is avaliable at K-TEC. Has anybody had this fitted to a valver? Does it give could power gains for the price? Cheers Paul

I got one for my 16v the S1 system full cat, its ok but the back box doesnt have a great finish on it and is quite big the fittment could be better, i would probably go for a k-tec one if i had to choose again. Nice throaty sound tho, like DazOrz said its unusual, not sure what the power gains...

Has anybody taken any sound clips of the ktec exhausts? That would be sweet.

Iv been looking at the exhaust systems Ktec Racing have for purchase. Im thinking of going for the K5 41/2 exhaust, has anybody had this fitted to thier 16v? What are they like? Are they loud? Whats the quality and fittment like?

Im thinking of getting O.Z Superturismo Corsas (WHITE) in a 15inch or 16inch size. Has anyone seen these on a blue valver and do you think they would look good. Im not sure whether to go for them or get the silver finish.
