    Thule Roof Bar Kit Issue

Cheers, I'll have another look at them this weekend.

    Thule Roof Bar Kit Issue

Yeah I did, and from the windscreen too, so they’re in the right place.

    Thule Roof Bar Kit Issue

How do. Tonight I have (attempted) to fit a Thule roof bar kit to the 172. All went on seemingly well, but they don’t seem to “grip” the roof very well. I’ve followed the instructions, and tightened the footpack up as much as it’s going to go, but it’s still not having it. With a moderate...

    Jacking from the front

Edit: Realised that doesn't solve your issue.

    Xenon Igniter Question

Yeah, sounds like a plan, I’ll drop you a message towards the end of the week? Cheers 100% certain, yeah.

    Bearing press

I’ve got an eBay press, no idea on the pressure of it, but it’s good. Weighs more than the moon, and unfortunately the press itself has gone, I think a seal perhaps, so they’re not really built to last. As said regarding injuries, I’ve had a bearing detonate from when I did the Saxo ones, not fun.

    Xenon Igniter Question

You’re a man of many things! Could I have the cap off you possibly? This time... £2 and a KitKat? Lol

    Xenon Igniter Question

You got spare ballasts? Maybe worth a try, only thing that seems odd is when I switched the igniter from OS to NS, the problem went with it? I need to get a cap on the back, as it’s missing, it could well be a bit of moisture causing gremlins.

    Xenon Igniter Question

Replacement igniter didn’t work, seemed to at first but this morning, no dice. I’m now guessing there’s nothing wrong with either igniter, and the issue is something else?

    Xenon Igniter Question

Okay, that's spot on for me yeah, sling it in the post for a few quid more, or you wanna arrange meeting up one evening, get Turner and a couple of others along?

    Xenon Igniter Question

£3 and a KitKat? Genuinely, what you after, if it worked when it came off, and it's been kept dry (ish), I'll have it off you?

    Xenon Igniter Question

Splendid, so it’s a case of either then. Cheers

    Xenon Igniter Question

Quick one regarding the xenons I've just fitted to the Cup. One of the lights sometimes fails to come on, swapped the igniter over and it moved the problem to the other side, suggesting it is in fact the igniter. The following link has a silver and a black igniter...

    Project: 172 Cup

Lol yeah they split opinion, that’s fine though. Thankfully, they’re easily changed.

    Project: 172 Cup

Ages since I've been in here. Plenty to update though. Most notably I had the wheels refurbished in the end, look so so much better in silver. Coated in Gyeon Rim, they should stay looking fresh for winter, they'll get some love again in the summer. Serviced the car, nothing of any interest...

    Little Blue 182

As above, the front bumper sticker. Each to their own and all that. I do think it’s had some front end work, you’re missing the black plastic tabs on the front bumper, which I know were there when I had it at least.
  22. Eddie.

    Little Blue 182

Oh boy, that sticker! Poor thing 😧

    Little Blue 182

How do, I’ve seen your PM, however I thought I’d respond to you here as I can follow your progress if you’re planning it as a project? My old project thread is here: https://www.cliosport.net/threads/project-clio-182-rb.598494/ Absolutely cracking car, loved it! I took it up to Scotland, round...

    Spacers 'guide'/info

Don’t really want the hassle of seized bolts on the stub axle. It’s cheaper and “better” to space the stub axle out I know, but it’s a lot more faff.
  26. Eddie.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

I'd expect so too, but they're close to double that.
  27. Eddie.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

I saw them but my god they're expensive for wheel bolts!
  28. Eddie.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

    Anyone able to confirm that?
  29. Eddie.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

What length wheel bolts do I need to jump up to with 10mm bolts (please don't anyone suggest measuring my current ones, wanna order today). PMS can supply the correct ones, but they're away until Monday, and I want to get them ordered and dispatched soon.

    Spacers 'guide'/info

Aye, I'm thinking these: http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/clio-2-ph2172/clio-2-ph2172-wheelsbrakes/slip-on-wheel-spacers-4x100mm-pcd.html With a set of longer wheel bolts
