True. I bet I could get it alot cheaper than that though and have it looking great for 2.5k including buying it. It is a reasonably average mileage 04plate 182. You'd be looking at appox 3k+ for one from Pistonheads/Autotrader from a quick look

Just to add.. Respray = £1k?? Alloy refurb = £200 (would get new alloys anyway) Wheel bearing = £?? Needs tax soon = £245 New steering wheel + boss = £150 max (omp wheel) Damage was front n/s.. Also 6x9 holes is no issue as stripped rear anyway, or new parcel shelf is cheap Any help/advise?

Was only looking up to around 3k as a base for the car? Not sure I've seen any orange ones below that? A few extra's would be nice, I will strip the rear but I'm not going to be taken 'everything' out by any means.

Oh that's cool. Do want a track car but I want it to look good as well, looking at 172's now they are 0.1 slower to 60 than the 182 according to autotrader, you could make that up with a decent strip of the car imo. Bright orange and silver theme :p

Thanks! I prefer the look of the ph2 alot more tbh. I know it doesn't matter massively for this instance but I would still regularly use it on the road. Do 182 bumpers fit the 172 I assume and alloys?

Sorry I meant a road going track car. As in all legal for the road but to use for track days etc.
