i dont see how id mess up doing the belts myself, ive done lots and will continue to do them with no issues i liked the car due to the colour, and it was nice and local but for the life of my i couldnt get the guy to take money off me, usual time waster on gumtree more interested in swopping...

ive spotted this clio for sale locally to me, its a x plate showing 79k it unfortunatly comes with no history further back that the present owner who has owned the car for a year, it seems straight enough and i really like the colour as ive never seen another, ive done all the basic car checks...

ive got 5 or 6 bottles of lexus/toyota dot 5.1 its supplied as part of the service kits from the main dealers, would it be worth using if im bleeding the full system and replacing the old stuff which may have never been changed? or go for dot 4?

at the moment im trying to find myself a nice phase 1 clio 172 but while ive been searching ive been offered a set of oz f1's in 16" at the moment all i know if there 4x100 but is there a specific offset thats suited to the clio better as i dont want to buy then if there gonna rub of something...

i understand what your saying but if the worst case is a gearbox at 300 then thats fine the car has a lot of mods that id do to one if i got it so on the one hand if the cars ok then i spend 300 putting a gearbox in it and have a great car or buy one standard and spent the money adding the mods...
