Cheers for ideas. Have had a good look this morning all along the arches and underneath but I just cannot find any evidence of the problem, no scraping or nothing. My mechanic is scratching his head too. The springs are black... Am thinking of trying 16" wheels to see if it helps...

Has anybody had serious probs with the wheels scraping the wheel arches when accelorating, or braking hard. mine does this every time and just wondered what i can do to stop it. I think the previous owner lowered the car a little.
