Which light is flickering? (holy thread revival batman). If it's your fog light then it's a really simple fix. Simply remove rear lights and clean up the connections, you'll find they are probably a little gunked up! Takes about 15 minutes is all and you shouldn't get any more flickering fog...
I think it was the rubber gasket it in the actual reservoir cap as when I took it off it was twisted out of position. We filled it up to full and over the space of around 500 miles it dropped about 1/3. We checked and couldn't see any place it was leaking so my dad thought perhaps the the actual...
Well I had another good think about it but decided to sell, especially now the sun has started to make an appearance! Perfect bike buying time! Spent the weekend giving her a good detailing and gathering all the bits and bobs for the sale.
For those interested the eBay link for the car is...
I keep asking myself the same thing lol, had a lovely drive tonight out tonight so I'm now weighing up my options again! I'll make a final decision this weekend but either way I'm definitely getting another bike!
Thought I'd give this thread a little and final revival!:up:. After the recent off the road time I started cycling to work again (only 2 miles away), and then car sharing with the ball and chain when it was spitting with rain 🙈. Anyway, I've had the car back on the road again for...
S7?
Edit just re-read your first post, it will be fairly different to the S6, looks like it's waterproof too. Just don't rule it out yet, I don't think it'd be worth someone in my position upgrading (s6>s7) but might be more than worth it for you
I've got the Galaxy S6, I had the Edge version but after I broke it I elected for the the standard screen. Best phone I've ever owned, zero lag at all, and with some little tweaks I get an average of 5 hours SOT everyday. Then of course you've got the upcoming Samsung Pay which is just awesome.
I phoned a local repair shop yesterday and they told me to avoid the eBay ones at all cost. It's quite hit and miss apparently, which is pretty evident in the feedback! I took a look on eBay to find some more cracked screen phones to hopefully repair and sell but after spending £30-40 on a new...
Hi, I've just managed to acquire 3 iPhones (different models) for a bargain. Only issues with all 3 is broken screens, I want to repair these myself and resell but I'm unsure where to buy the parts from. I was going to order off eBay until I read so many reviews saying that they're utter trash...
You weren't wrong! I saw a good offer on a single one so thought "meh let's just get 1". Anyway, fitted it and ran great for an hour! Next morning back to 3 cylinders :(
It felt great yesterday, but then I did think "that sure sounds lumpy at idle". Ah well it's only money
Edit. Dad's just confirmed injector number 2 dead lol
Yea good point, well it actually flashed for a couple of minutes yesterday evening but with no symptoms so I thought maybe it was the previous stored fault. Obviously it was detecting a failure, I should have just bought a full set I think!
Hi,
Recently had some issues involving the AC compressor clutch and then a failed injector. Had the car back up and running yesterday with no issues what so ever! It was injector number 3 that had failed FYI. Anyway, started her up just now and missing again! Unplugged each injector one by one...
Quick test for injectors, start the car up and disconnect the power lead from 1 at a time and see if it gets any worse. If it doesn't get any worse then it's a safe bet that injector has failed. Or you take take a reading off each plug.
Probably just needs a regas pal! I believe if they are out of gas they won't "click on", it's an audible noise you'll hear with the door or window open. FYI I'm at 83k original clutch, they seem to last for ages if treated well!
Hey mate, just been linked your thread! We did the same thing lol. I had to replace my AC compressor but just before the job my car started missing with EML flashing. Fault code reader showed P0300, we checked the leads and they were all fine, spark plugs looked fine but after some more digging...
Ok well good news! My Dad did some testing today and looks like injector #2 has died. Good news because I can actually get it back on the road soon! I found some old posts from 2013 & 2013 and people were quoting the injector as £75 a piece but I've found loads for around £30 off eBay. Is this...
Hi all, been having a nightmare of a time recently with the Clio. With help off this forum I've replaced my AC compressor as the last one bit the dust after an incident with some standing water. Anyway, just before I fitted it, the car started missing and engine management light flashing. Got a...
