PistonHeads Car Pool last month

pretty chuffed but the car will be sold soon !
Well it does look pretty good on the OEM wheels as well !
4x Goodyear F1 make the car more supple and more pleasant to drive. They do give away faster and with less warning than the PS3 but it's more fun.
Sadly the Clio will get a new owner in 2 or 3 weeks. Miss it already...
They sure are mate, check this thread : http://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/ph-features-sheds/shed-of-the-week-suzuki-ignis-sport/34919
I'm trying to source parts to make it OEM again :
- refurb OEM wheel
- 4 new tyres
- front discs and pads
- OEM cat
Exhaust problem partly solved ! I replaced this aftermarket piece of junk :
by an OEM part and this sounds much better :
A bit of top end power is also back.
Then I had a flat tyre, caused by this :
So I used a sealant but then the wheelarch was dirty :
Cleaned it...

Lately I went to check a Ford Puma 1.7 but nearly fell in love for this one
I took the highway on the way in but went back through Le Circuit du Castellet and la Sainte Baume (this is where evo mag went for the McLaren F1 & P1 test).
Had a fantastic drive, even locked up a front wheel on the...
small update here
Been thinking about selling the car a thousand times but just can't do it ! The miss doesn't want anything convertible (MX-5, Z3), nor with wings (Impreza, M3s) or just average looking (106 S16, Type R). I thought about a GTV 3.0 but if I get fantastic engine and interior, it's...
It's been a while but recently i planned to sell the car so the belts were done. The mechanic found an half a dent gap on the previous belt job, so now the car isn't more powerful but the engine is a bit smoother and i have less resonance around 3k rpm wich is always a good thing. Recent trips...
I ran a straight pipe a while ago but it wasn't that bad with the OEM cat. I think the noise is coming from the sport cat, what was I thinking when I bought it
many many pictures but those somehow stand out :

morning light on the Clio
it's been freezing even in Provence, winter is coming fast. and so it becomes harder to keep the car clean for more than two days !
Thanks ! after much (internal) debate, I decided not to go for the anthracite Turini's and I'm really happy with the look. as a bonus they are ET38.5 so a bit more ET than the Trophy's
thanks mat
The Contrôle Technique (french MOT) was due this month but I had some issues :
- one of the indicator (the one in the headlight) wasn't working and this wasn't a fuse/bulb issue
- one of the new headlights was higher than the other one
- the A/C wouldn't blow any cold air even after a refill
-...
Another month, another trip.
This time in the France center (below Clermont-Ferrand), never been here before.
the Clio was sitting low...
...because of this !
unable to overtake any well driven diesel uphill without giving it the full revs :astonished:
couldn't resist this pic through...
gave the car a much needed clean
Before
Meanwhile
After
and of course on the next morning it rained, hopefully I had parked the clio in the garage (but my company car was filthy again)
Thanks for your comment, I try to take pictures when the car's clean (every 3 weeks or so...) but sometimes it renders well even if it's not !
I use a D700 with some various lenses and a Sony RX100 (which is the cheapest way of making excellent pictures BTW).
Did you get the lights mate ? happy...
