Ye it's all preped properly before I attempt a wax I use a good base polish something like auto finesse triple but the poor boys i just find is a good wax but quite hard to work with. I have used dodo juice purple have before but obv that is for dark colour cars and this is a berg 172 so need...
Doesn't need to be majorly durable. Just after something that will make the car shine well and ain't a b*****d to use. The poor boys is a decent enough wax for the cash but the shine ain't as good as some others I have used just thought I'd see what you boy thought of
I'm looking for a good wax that is fairly easy to use. I'm wanting something that will give my car decent protection and a deep shine. I currently use poor boys natty paste wax but fancy trying something different. I don't want to pay through the nose for a pot of wax but ain't gonna buy cheep...
Ye mate I might take you up on that soon mate. Im fitting a few bits next weekend and ordering a lot of stuff also like new clutch, cambelt, dephaser, brakes, and some small bits I want to tidy up. Always nice having another pair of eyes and hands mate
Ye? I'm elsenham mate. About 10 mins away. It needs raising as the wishbones are inverted badly ATM but that's how I bought the car just haven't got round to doing it yet. Na I only want to run minimal camber to bring the top of the wheels away from the wings
5 mins from stansted airport mate. I have 20mm spacers here but it scrubs on lock now so I'm raising it a bit and running slight camber on the front to keep the tyres away from the wings.

You did it all by hand then? I have used the same kit before and used the drill. Was a pretty good job tbh just looking at what kits people recommend really
Na the button fell out when I took the handle off and im presuming I have put it back together wrong as it's not pushing far enough down and not pushing the mech enough to pop the boot. f**k nos how I put it back together wrong there is only a spring and a button in there. Unless I'm missing a...
I have just fitted new lower arms, ball joints a new drivers side shaft and a second hand passenger shaft in good condition and now when you accelerate I pulls really hard right any ideas what my problem could be?
Fitted new pass drive shaft, both wishbones, ball joints, sanded down bullets, 'Clio' badge, bothe front and rear diamonds and sprayed. Debadged the rear badges on other side, cleaned under engine bay, clay bar the whole car and wax it, new post car exhaust gasket, front exhaust hanger replaced...
