Car is a 172.
The other day, going home from work I managed a puncture (just b4 i got home). So saturday took to the tyre guys and get it fixed, it turned out the small piee of steel was the end of a steak knife which stabbed through the rear right tyre. it was pretty funny having...
Does sound a bit like the front mount knocking noise, but that only happens on full lock. I'll remove it and see how it goes, but I'd still need to find a fix somehow. But there's no way I can live witht the noise it makes at the moment, feels like the car is about fall into small bits at the...
I've installed an OMP rear strut bar on my 172, but have found the car now makes a lot of metal clunking noises when ever it goes over uneven surface... which is basically everywhere. This is combined with an occasional unlubricated spring compressing noise. Any ideas? I have not tested witht he...
They are 16" :approve:
And I know, because ... (NERD ALERT), I keep a record of it on my PDA, including service, repairs, track days, lap times.... crashes... :o because my PDA is also my mobile phone, anytime something is done I enter it straight away. Thanks for the approving comments!
Well, finally got them and got tyres put on. All on the car's 3rd birthday too!!!:approve:
A few days ago, 6th. My Millie passed her 3rd birthday with out too much celebration. That's because her present came a bit late.
Usually I get bored with cars after a year, or less. This one I have...
hmmm maybe Yozza is willing to be the middle man in this? :D The Trophy wheels are identical to the turinis yeah? Just they don't have speedline corse written on them?
I've been quoted by a "local" parts guy at 80 AUD per centre cap... 4 caps would cost the almost the same as another wheel...
Hi,
Is there anywhere to source the renault centre caps to fit 16" Speedline Turini wheels? No Trophy on sale in AUs so I can't simply wander down to the dealer and buy them, actually Speedline Turinis aren't realyl sold here in the first place...
Cheers
I guess not all electrical problems have been sorted even in the 182 eh? Well at lesat it's warranty item. One of the 225s here had similar problems, except it stopped while traveling down a motor way. i.e. engine just stopped. good luck with it.

me? hehe you guys get to enjoy any of the European races with ease! come on! hehe Going for The Renault Team offcourse! I need Alonso to win, caus ei bet with a mate at work that he would. But I would love to see Fisi win again, that man deserves to be on top. And Nico should stand on the podium...
hehehe I'll do my best to avoid new windscreen mate! So far going alright, still some smoke but not much anymore. Still noise, but I'll give it a go later... I am going to the Melb GP tomorrow so no run in till next week! I had EBC pads on the car before, withthe stock disc, no dust is soo good...
Well it's done, the front's been changed. 10pm, no dinner, covered in brake dust and others... hmm loctite... oh oh!
Anyway, T40 Torx, 18mm caliper bolt socket... didn't have end up using a 19 and worked well, but wouldn't try again. My dsics actually came off very easily, bit of shove...
thanks mate, probably will just buy a fullset of bits as opposed to guess which one. Might be easier this way. Planning to use the hammer method, it's not like you are going to use the old discs in anymore capacity than maybe make it into part of a furniture or something. :)
This happened a while ago, the dealer sold Honda/Alfa/Citroen/Renault/Sabb/Ferrari/Lotus and second hand super cars etc. The service area for Renault was with Alfa and Sabb, and I went in to get the passenger seatbelt checked, as 80% of the time it gets stucka nd you can't pull it down, even...

hmm in Australia, I have to service mine (172) every 10000 km, which is like 7000 miles. HMM!!! Its weird, the Australia spec 172 does with 15" wheels instead of 16, and Cruise Control is not even an option.

thanks guys, I took it back to the dealer but they said theres no proble with the ECU and software. Strange thing is, this mroning, first morning after the deale rvisit, it starts fine. likewise tonight after work. Im wondering if sometimes dealers under instruction from manufactures do not tell...
Hi, just bought one about 2 weeks ago. It stalls on cold starts (every morning, or at the end of the day). To prevent stalling, I have to hold the ignition, the engine would struggle then start... but still strugles a bit for 30 seconds or so after start.
I went to the dealer, they said all...
