Great move if you can visit Corbeau. It’s a fiddly job but totally worth it.

Another job that was a pain in the arse but I like it and it’s the one change the Ragnotti had that we didn’t get on the Cup.
Funny that this is the second time my car has had Sparcos in it. Found a thread where @ChrisP_182 owned it back when I had my first Cup.
Whatever happened to it since that time, it was not very loved. That gives me drive to make it good again.
This is how I work on my cars: identify that something needs doing, research the s**t out of it reading how to guides, watching videos, even looking at a Haines manual, then order the parts, put the work off for a bit, finally convince myself it is as simple as the guides say, remind myself "all...
I managed the job that didn't need doing today- new coilpack and leads, why not? Maybe the answer to that is that I think i managed to compress a lead under the inlet and I'm worried that there might be a specific way to lay out the leads under it that I don't know about? The front 5 bolts on...
One of many more questions to follow- a cracking sound on opening the door- which bit of the mechanism does that suggest is past it? Note this was a cracking sound in the car door, not in me, for once.
In short I just want to be able to read codes, diagnose things effectively, and switch off airbag lights etc- something that has some effective power but isn’t too expensive. Any recommendations? Have looked at foxwell NT604, is there a Clip setup that is straightforward to use?
Or anyone near...
Minor updates.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I specifically wanted a cup with a/c. My (brilliant) first cup didn’t have it and was a pain in the arse, especially for doing motorsport related things with young kids. I’m a soft southerner, who my Yorkshire grandad would be ashamed of.
I’ve...
Prepping to fit the new to me bumper and wing and I just dropped the b*****d wing on the ground and it’s ruined, deep scratched all along the arch. FML what a joke. Like buttered toast yet had to land paint side down. So fucked off.
Glad to hear you are happy with the new exhaust.
Snappy did a wheel for my MX5 recently and it’s spot on. The comms were very good through the process too.
Re your rear badges, I have to ask what/where/who is the correct tape? As I have this very job ahead of me (amongst 2000 other things).
Incredible achievement, well done to everyone behind the scenes that keeps it going and the nice people on the forum. It’s my second time around with a Clio and cliosport after a 12 year gap and I don’t plan on having another gap until I die.
If I was after someone to sort the rusty sills and petrol filler, the little dents, and paint the cup in a different colour, who would be a good recommendation and a fair price???
Ah, you’re friends with Joe. We keep meaning to do a Sunday drive out with his Caterham and my MX5. Shame about his wallet moment! Think his car is back and at GP sevens now. Your Clio looks fantastic and in no way a junior car in that group. Brilliant.
great to see these updates. The Renault letter is fab. As I said in the pm, happy to help with parts and stuff on my US travels. Good luck with the shipping.
Had a great day at Goodwood Revival. My (somewhat better off than me) friend had a Lola T70 and a Cobra racing. Lola was leading its race on Saturday but ran out of fuel just before the end of the race. Cobra fought its way up to fourth on Sunday.
My daughter got a seat in the Lola though. I...
That’s impressive! My Alpina:
Tried to do some other cars and it kept the same alpina on screen and on the box, despite prompting 3 times to change them. That’s the brilliance and limitations of AI right now!
Can you generate one of those images for my car? Mondial blue and inferno orange around the edges!
Also, a pleasure to make your acquaintance, you fat wanker.
NB: I’m a gradually expanding wanker myself.
I was going to start with some abuse and offensive chatter, but you don’t even know me online, so thought that might not go down very well. (Very happy to be offensive if you like though).
Please say more about that model Clio situation. Thank you please.
