fitted a genuine new parcel shelf to my 182 as old one had a split in it..and started squeaking like mad.....and done my head in:grimacing:
£32 later and sorted :tongueclosed:
was thinking of boosting my 182...but decided against it, as seen to many posts saying that they wish they never did it!
keeping mine with minimal mods and enjoying it when I can...other than work:wink: and love too much to sell now, with some few more mods left to do:cool:
I think about getting rid of my 182 for something else. .but just can't do it .
especially when I drive my taxi most of the time, and only drive the clio maybe once or twice a week if I'm lucky. ...but when I do it's worth the wait as I just love the fun factor of getting out my cab and going...
also last week went up to dan@sjm automotive to get a couple of jobs done witch were gear box oil change with genuine tranself nfj 75w-80 which I supplied and timing check and fit new fuel pump and cap as the pump has now been superseded to keep contact fuel pressure for starting...which they...
finally got fitted ....after a few days of taxi work all hours I got chance to fit the manifold today and all went really well with not a problem. ...bolt's came loose nice and easy..so put them all back with a bit of the cooper grease..
and gave the throttle body a good clean also:wink:

I took my bumper off to do mine and replaced both washer jets as both we're knackered and only £25 from renault also check washer pump is clear and not blocked with crap...it is much easier to remove bumper and do this all
decided to change my expansion tank as it was looking a little tired and letting down engine bay as I want it to look cleaner:tongueout:
so today I picked up a new one from the local stealers and it only took me about 15 minutes to fit ...here are a couple of pics of the old and new...which...
now with added cooksports:tongueout:..got the springs of here from newb and did not take long to fit.
ride is more firm and sits a bit lower now which I'm happy with :cool: drive is more firm and handles much nicer
spotted while I was driving my taxi minibus on school run going towards asda...very clean titanium silver reg no DS04FXJ..and spotted cliosport. net sticker in rear window:wink:
also got hold of some Led bulbs fo the 182. ..rear number plate bulb X2 for £4.99 and X2 side light bulbs for £3.80 which I think is ideal for under a tenner.

Well another update again,and this time it is the waterpump:confused: after hearing stories of pump failures and others going on forever I did not want to tempt fait:grimacing:
so I got a mate of mine to get the job done for me as work doesn't give me time to do it myself :tonguewink:

well the time had come to get my tyres done so went and got a new full set of toyo's fitted and went from 195 to 205 45 16's which seem to fill the arch much better:smile: so happy days. ..here's a few pics. ...and love the smell of new rubber :hearteyes:
just seen the result mate..glad you got it sorted Chris...know how you felt mate when getting a problem which is a bugger to find....gets you down and feel like throwing in the towel:disappointed:....but you got there in the end mate.....good on you:wink::up:
fitted new high visibility brake light as other just stopped working. ..only found this out by picking up my 182 from voters in Plymouth after having new keyfob coded as old one was causing issue's starting car.... £170 well spent
when I recently got my private plate from dvla I just went to a motor factors and got them done but had to show log book... but you don't have to when ordering on a plate website; )
to be fair Chris the interior looked fine mate ..might be worth checking on it mate...or I could take a look for you before the weekend if you want ,and I will get back to you on Facebook; )
