Got a 182 that develops a misfire but only in the rain.
Car hit a puddle a few nights ago and started to misfire but its now fine when its dry but the second it gets wet out, the car starts to mis. Plugs and leads have been changed so the only thing I can think is the post cat lambda throwing...
No I sold that a few years ago to a guy who modded it then sold it back to another guy half a mile from my house. pains me to see how nice it looks now
however, I had the same problem and it got worse, to the point where mine clunked every time I let off the throttle. Turned out it the splined sleeve on the o/s drive shaft. Check under the car in that area to see if you can see any powdered rust thrown outwards or on the joint itself.
P.S its...
If they are the correct tyre size for the wheel then it will be fine. When you go up to 195 the sidewall may bulge over slightly but not to drastically.
Hope this helps
Kyle
Love the car Tom, just read the whole thread. The new wheels look absolutly amazing. Nice to see someone buck the trend slightly and pay off big time. :)
I only say that because some poor chap (i cant remeber his name or find the thread) on here put non gen bulbs in and his car caught fire on his drive and wrote it off. Didnt say it to be a **** or scare the op, just trying to be helpful

I took these on honeymoon in Mauritius, only used my Galaxy S3 but i like them. Also how do i get them to appear in my post?
Bassically im covering at a renault dealer and wanna get the part number of turini centre caps but i need the reg of a car that had them fitted from standard I.E a trophy or 172 cup. Any help would be great
I do it all the time no matter if im in the renault master van, the wifes ibiza or the clio. I find some cars dont pick up revs quick enough though to be able to properly rev match. I also like the noise you get from a little blip of the throttle, down a cog and let it run, nice little pop.
Really?? i thought all the 182's did it? If i get in mine and drive from cold, it holds back then suddenly leaps into life. doesnt matter what gear or speed, it jerks a little then its fine. Almost like the engine management is warming up
When cold they idle lumpier than school chocolate pudding
when cold the rev limiter is set at 6850 and when warm it revs to 7250 (ish)
There is also a shift light on the limit
yeah its me, still got it. It currently off the road as the driveshaft span its splines. :( I only have about 2 pm's in my inbox which is wierd. I'll pay for membership again and hopefully that sorts it
