Hi people, My 182 cup wheels are in need of a refurb but im unsure what colour to go for. What is everyone's thoughts on a high metallic silver ? Chuck some ideas my way. I Dont want to loose too much of the sporty image that the standard colour gives. I don't think the 182 wheels suit many...

I have just has to replace my centre silencer funnily enough. The insides had come away and were rattling like buggery. Also it was blowing. Milltek are "claimed" to be top notch. I don't think that at all. Also if they were that good, why have I got rust on a high quality stainless...

You have to take the wipers off unfortunately.... Its a bit of a fiddle

Just been out for a drive. It sounds like metal touching the disc when turning. There is still a very tiny noise in a straight line but its gets a lot louder when going round a left hand turn. So you reckon it's the bearing ?

It sounds more like something rubbing the disc if that makes sense ??

Hi peeps, I keep hearing a grinding noise when turning round corners. I know my rear brakes need replacing but they aren't shot. In all fairness it sounds like brakes rubbing but why would it do it more round corners ?? all help appreciated !

Get up to the speed which the noise starts at, then press hard on the whole reading light unit. I bet it will stop !

40mpg ? i sit at 29mpg round town. Perhaps the car needs to be revved a bit more often lol.

plug it in and get fault codes is the best move.

brake pedal switch . i had the same issue.

My headlight washers dont even work :( You can here the windscreen pump working fine but over that you can here an on off sound from the other pump :(

What about some sort of fuel cut off ? like the red button on 106 gti's ?

182s are defo quicker in a straight line by a tiny bit (which means nothing really) The gears are longer and the cars are much lighter.

To be honest, at the end of the day its only a clio.... They are very cheap to run.

I think you have chosen the wrong thing lol. Go to fastchip.nl > shop > Programming equipment > RS Tuner Kit > go to the bottom of page and select rs tuner standard > next drop down select Clio 2 RS CBxx. And so on... Actually to help more, pay up and become a member to CS. There is a start...

I can tell you that the cambelt most probably snapped at some point.

I have the rstuner and have both maps. The increase in mid range and overall smoothness is quite noticeable. The overrun map barely makes a difference to mpg as it only flames over 4.5k rpm . The only thing it does do is destroy lambdas and baffles. Maps don't gain you much on these engines...
