I have many times. I've been through three different Complaints Managers. They don't seem to care really. Nothing gets done, I don't get compensated for my wasted time. I suppose one last time won't hurt.
I suppose I'll have to. I'm just fed up of it. I've been through two complaints procedures with Renault UK. If I knew what was wrong with it, and if there was any way I could mitigate it then I'd do that, then take it back to Renault like LOOK ITS NOT HARD.
Hahah, and then when it all falls...
It's been back to Renault for;
-Aircon (not fixed)
-Loose doorcards (fixed)
-Starting issue (not fixed)
Then went to a different Renault for;
-Aircon (not fixed)
Then went to Holdcroft Renault for;
-Aircon (fixed)
-Knocking noise coming from engine (fixed, poor workmanship from previous trip...
Hi guys,
If any of you have seen my other threads on here or renaultforums.co.uk you'll see that I've had many problems with my 2012 Clio 1.2 TomTom.
For a few months I've had a weird grinding noise coming from the engine when being driving, (under load I think it's called by mechanics etc?)...
Just test drove the 0.9 tce dynamique medianav one.
Didn't like the interior. Didn't like the media centre, I've seen better GUI from £30 android tablets, the sat nav was gubbins (my current built-in tomtom is miles better). No CD player? No massive, but still a negative point.
The whole...
I've got a mk3 2012 Clio 1.2 and since I've bought it, it has had an intermittent cold start issue. It would take a while to fire up, and once it did the revs would be extremely low. (About 500rpm).
I have been back to Renault several times with this. First few times it was apparently my...
I'm not sure if I'm being daft, but my speedo and cruise control don't match up.
So say I set the cruise control at 70mph, and the screen says so, the needle on the speedo points at 72mph.
Is this common? Is this a fault, or am I being a marde? I've had a search on here but can't find...
I would have a look at similar on the market. Bonnet and door dings I would declare to buyer, but not alter. Maybe look at getting the crack fixed, but then again is it really worth it for the price it would cost? Headlight job is easy and cheap and will make the car look ten times better.
To...
But both lenses have a minimum 10mm focal length?
edit; basically, you aren't getting a wider angle lens by just buying the 10mm prime as opposed to the kit lens of 10-30mm. To get a wider angle lens you would need to get less than 10mm, e.g. 8mm.
Oh I had a quick search but couldn't find anything. Yeah sure, I have done it once but struggled and managed to snap one clear lens. Found everything else easy, apart from getting my chubby fingers in to take out/replace the bulb haha.
Yeah definitely, sounds good.
Yeah it looks good. eBay job? Which ones did you buy? Mine don't point the beam as they should. Also, how did you get the bulbs out? Like how did you take the reflectors off?
I've already changed my bulbs on my number plate, but looking to upgrade again.
How the hell do you replace them without snapping the reflector/cover? I can get the assembly out easily, but just can't get the clear reflector off without breaking it. I snapped one in half and cracked the other...
I'd like to know this too.
Im interested in plasti-dip, but with the American price being so cheap I'm looking for a little cheaper than plasti-dip UK. And I'm looking for aerosol glow in the dark, but I know that'll probably never happen...
Car looks great without the clio badge on actually! Did you just heat it up and fishing line it off? And I think Sweden has the law regarding lights being on all the time? Is that right? Might be the case that modern cars must come equipped with headlight washers to ensure good visibility...
