    need help about fitting K&N filter.

    i have a clio 2002 1.4 16v and i purchased a k&n air filter which was removed from a clio 182. the rubber piping which came with filter is bendable but seems to be to small to fit over the original inlet hole to the air filter housing. any one got any sugestions on how i can connect it.....thanks
