I bought my 172 from Motorhouse at Mansfield last year they tried to sell me the third year warranty.I just rung Renault customer services gave them my VIN number,they confirmed that it was imported from France (arnt they all) and was UK spec so qualified for the third year warranty.its as easy...

Sainsburys was £40 more than Tesco and did not include a hire car.Also I do not have any complaints about the price they quoted for the mods.

I bought my 172 import in November last year and I called Renault customer services last week to register it. They took all my details and confirmed where it was from and said it has full UK spec and qualified for the full 3 years UK warranty. I hope this helps you.

UPDATE...thought it was to good to be true..just phoned them to accept the quote and found out that she had quoted me for a 1.2 instead of 172. The price now is an extra £65 for the chip and £60 pounds for the springs..which I suppose is not to bad.So I have accepted the quote for the original...

Sorry,if I did not make it clear...but £236 is the whole quote...£149 cheaper than without modifications.
