Hi guys
Been offered a 192 in exchange for my new style BTM system. My only concern is will the 192 be quiet enough to go on track.
I want something a bit louder but do trackday so don't want to make life difficult at track.
I will be keeping standard cat and the 192 is non res so no centre...
You want some pipe that the same I/D as the O/D of your centre section. So 2 1/4" then cut slits in it and expand it very slightly. It should then slide onto the centre (once olive joint has been cut off!) then mock it up in place and use a stand to hold the cat in place and tack weld sleeve to...
As said depress the brake pedal with a bar, don't really need to open bleed nipples first but doesn't matter. I just depress it as much as possible with a bar and crack on..
I'm doing bedford trackday on the 28th and I've got some rc6's coming. The brake fluid I have in currently is pagid normal dot 4. I'm concern that I might boil it with the new pads now. Although it is fresh when I changed it in January!
After some thoughts and opinions from people if they hve...
I've just fitted a pair to my FF182, got them from AVP, all vehicle parts, and they're J&R. Everyone said they won't fit and rub on the block.
They fit, don't rub on the block. As for quality I'll see how they last. I paid £120 for both shafts. Also just ordered ones for a trophy as 182 ones...
Sounds good to me! My friend was on about wanting to go santa pod with his BMW i3 as he thinks it'll be as quick as the clio, and he'll have it by then :)
Apologies, I thought you meant you thought hunter was the only machine worth using.
Back on topic.. OP, I reckon you've probably wasted a lot of money on parts that weren't past their best trying to sort an issues that a £30 alignment would have sorted!
I can't see how to be honest, maybe it's a little more accurate and measures caster.. But other wise the laser super tracker stuff I use at work does the same thing.
I've read loads of old threads looking for info but... I need 2 new shafts and will probably get them from one of works suppliers (all vehicle parts) as they use shaftec who generally use genuine items refurbed.
My question really is what part numbers should I be looking for? Or is there a...
Slightly disagree with you there James. Any alignment system is fine as long as it's operated by a good tech, even the hunter gear is no good in the hands of a monkey
I know you've said you had the tracking done but I'd be checking it again.. Maybe the suspension has settled since and requires a re adjust. Or something really isn't bolted up in the correct place!
