Hi there i have made a video on the noise i am getting at 4000 revs when foot taken off excellerator,does not make noise when put into neutral.gearbox feels ok http://videobam.com/bLEqs if anyone can help thanks.

my mechanic said the gearbox is ok,he cant work out what it is? could it be the cat on the exhaust knackered

if i take it out of gear the whining disapears mate

i had a new back part exhaust fitted & the noise stoped for about 1month but has come back again?

Hello, im getting a very loud whining noise which appears to be coming from gearbox area...........symptons when whinning occur going over 4000 revs & taking foot off excelerator,the whining will last for a few seconds and dissapear...clio sport 172

hi guys it makes the noise staionary only when high revs are applied,if im driving it will make the noise then stop then start when it feals like it,if i drive fast 50mph+ the noise will kick in when i take my foot off excellerator pedal,heat shield is ok.

Hi ive been getting a vibrating noise coming from the gear box area,it seems to get louder the faster i go,any help would be much appreciated
