Hi Folks,
Hope you do not mind, but I would like to try and keep this thread going on the first page until this problem is resolved. My wife and I are now on a mission to push this as much as possible. We are devoting 2 hours of our time every day now to post on various sites, and to write to...
Holy sh1t edde, do you work for renault or have renault pj's or something, or do you just have a bath at night with some French guy?
Believe me, after 15 weeks of this crap, my knowledge on the subject of the workings of the renault company is far greater than yours.
For your info, they do...
Have done Trev,,
and no news from him either in almost 3 weeks.... He may be a good guy, but he seems to be struggling in the face of adversity from such a crap company that he works for.
Unfortunately we did not buy this car brand new, we got it a 3 months old with 1200 miles on the clock from our local Subaru garage. Gent that bought it realised it was too small to carry his kids in so he traded back to a scoob.
If there is one slightly good point it is keeping the mileage...
Been on phone to Renault UK Customer Services evry 2nd day for the last 3 months....... not speeding things up very well is it??
Would not even be so bad if they just came out and said that they were making a new loom and it took so many weeks. Not had a peep of helpful info from them in all...
Correct, Renault uk do send out parts, and that is the fundamental problem, they are not sending the part out!
How can a spare one exist, but they dont have any???!.........If by exist, you mean that they have the drawings etc to make one, then that is a bit bloody obvious is it not...
If the loom does exsist, then why has it now been 15 weeks and they have not found it?.....It is not the dealers problem, this is a warranty issue that requires a new part from renault. There is no way that i would accept some dodgy dealer repair on a car that is barely over a year old!
To cut a very very very long story short, Clio Trophy would not start. It was in and out of the dealers several times getting new "this" getting new "that" but every time we got it back, the next day it would not start.
Got rather annoyed with the local dealer who could not provide a courtesy...
See loads of clio sports in the Falkirk area. Next time you see me in the red elise sports racer (white stripes) give me a wave!
Wife has a Trophy that is still off the road at the garage. That has been 14 weeks... good ol reno.
Bob
My wifes trophy is invisible too.
But it is because it needs a new wiring loom and ren uk and ren france cannot get one.....
so it has now been at the dealers for 12 weeks.
hows that for sh1te service!!!
That is cool,
I saw loads of RS Clios on my Saturday Jaunt. Saw that Grahamk was fast approaching in the roadworks. Shame you weren't going to Falkirk too, it's a nice bend off that slip.
I am sure that anyone that saw T2**PHY on Saturday can infact confirm that she was being driven in a...
