I'm trying to get the brakes sorted on my Trophy as somewhere along the line someone has bled the brakes badly and got air into the ABS pump, if I bleed them with my pressure bleeder they are fine for a month until the ABS/TCS gets activated and then air gets in and the pedal goes soft again...
Spotted the other evening whilst I was selling my soul to Walmart and shopping at Asda. I was in a hurry so couldn't get a good look but I haven't seen any other RS's driving around here (Selsey).
Sadly selling my Clio as I am buying an estate car.
Has been really cherished and will be missed.

After a long search and travelling far and wide to look at some tatty 172's I finally found a low milages 172 cup 10mins up the road!

I've just bought a Clio 172 Cup and although it runs great it doesn't feel quite a peppy as some of the full fat 172's I drove before finding this one.
Looking at the service book I can see it has had a cambelt change however it seems it was done by the used car dealership supplying...

Maybe a silly question but I've been trawling through the classified there seem to be two different engine types.
This one is on an 03 plate Cup
and this one is on a 53 plate Cup
Is it just a cover or they actually a different lump?

I've been browsing this wonderful forum as I'm looking for a Renaultsport.
From my readings of the various models I'm pretty sure the 172 Cup is for me (in blue :approve:).
So glad there is such a wealth of information here and the buyers guide is great!
