    Washer jet/filter/bottle problem.

    Hi, The power in the washer jets for the windscreen has been steadily getting weaker until it was a dribble down the bonnet. Now no water comes through them at all. I have tried washing the bottle out with a hosepipe which didnt help. I have also disconnected the pipes to the jets on the bonnet...

    Its a 2004 Clio Sport. Both the timing belt and accessories belts were changed in September 2009 and I'm pretty sure the accessories belt was changed again last year some time.

    Went to use my car today and noticed a funny squeaking noise when I switched the engine on. Took the car round the block just to see if it carried on and the squeak got higher pitched as the rpm got higher. Also noticed a funky smell both inside and outside of the car. Got back to the house...

    Cheers, the solid plastic part is still there, this came from above it so has to the pad you are talking about. Do I need to sort out getting another one? I guess it wouldn't affect the car struggling with starting on a morning at the minute then...
