Yeah it does sound like it could be both! It turns over and revs just fine it seems but makes a dreadful racket!

Overheating, squeaking engine and juddering steering. What has gone wrong?

Been searching the forum but can't seem to figure out what has gone wrong on my 2005 182FF. Recently changed my alternator after it died and all seemed to be going just fine for about a week then today I took her for a spin and I'm sure I felt something go under the car and then could hear a...

Wheel came this morning, took my time and it took around 3 hours and am very pleased with it on the whole! much nicer as the old had lots of melting and looks crap. Thicker than the old one and I would say a much more comfortable wheel to hold, sits closer than the old one which I think is a...

    My Iceberg Silver 182FF

Powerflex bushes came this morning and have just fitted them, took just over an hour, not too difficult a job! Before: Pushing small side out with a vice and got the big end out with a hammer. Fitting new bushes was easy, took the metal out first, put in the plastic bits then pushed metal part...

New to CS, my 182 - 6 months on!

That does sound like something that could be fixed from under the car, I had a look and played with the gear linkages while under and it had noting to do with that and it was originating from the gearbox  Hope you get it sorted! Would like to hear the outcome!

New to CS, my 182 - 6 months on!

My first post (not sure if I'm posting correctly!) being a proud owner of my 182 full fat! Only modification is a stainless no branded eBay exhaust I fitted recently after the stock was rusting everywhere, quite pleased with it as I was worried I would have regret not getting a branded one, but...
