@optical why don't you just remove the 182 wheel and get that one retrimmed, and pop the 172 wheel on in the mean time?? Thats what I did... it only takes 2 minutes to pop your steering wheel off and a new one on. Saves swapping the cruise control buttons?
well if you're getting power, it may be a problem with the regulator? Should be able to hear the cable is funny though.
MK3 Regulator
Although if its just acting odd it may be the control module. Wouldn't know how you'd fix that though, but think it'd be a dealership visit
love that description... Such a coincidence, I always seem to be spotting RS Clios while on a roof installing a flue :grinning:
As for the Trophy, it's probably the same one I've seen a couple of times. I posted up a spotted recently for it but no reply, seen it down near Lion's Brewery pub. I...
oo aye modern day shakespeare! That were a typo, meant Isofix bar bolt. I'm sure I can get it off tomorrow with more leverage. Tyres are getting changed on Thursday so as you say, can always get one of the chaps there to use gun
this one mate? (hidden in the shadow, flat bottom) This is the one I'm spraying... don't seem to be having any joy. Will persevere if this is the right one
I was in my daily drive Polo Bluemotion unfortunately and you were very much trying to get past... which you did once I was finally able to pull in! Very tidy Trophy :)
Selling my 172 track car, road legal, 5 months tax, 11 months MOT, great bit of fun and good milage. I'm located near Guildford

The 182 is in great condition. If I start throwing it around a track it'll get beaten up, seems like a waste IMO? Also I'm trying to save for a flat / house in Surrey and I figured if I start throwing yet more cash at the 182 to convert it, I'll end up more out of pocket than if I sell up. It is...
I've recently begun a new job in which I'll be travelling a considerable amount of miles more than previously. Although it's paid milage, I've reluctantly taken the decision to take my Clio 182 off the road and convert it to a track machine. I therefore bought myself the most boring, pound...
I'm considering selling my Clio 182. I've just bought a Polo Bluemotion for the road, the intention was to build my car for track now but on weighing it up, I don't have the space or time needed and I'de hate for my car to become one of the thousands of 'partly built track project' Clio's on...
Don't ask me where along the A303... I clocked you coming past on the other side of the road. Very nice; if it weren't for impatience I'de have mine liquid yellow, best colour available IMO.
Ah right. I live only a few miles from Farnborough. I was travelling back along the M4 today and saw signs for Air Tattoo... did wonder if it was an air show. shame, I would of stopped off had I known.
My mate was there... very distinguishable 182 in blue with a thick anthracite (grey) stripe. lowered with stickers on rear window... plus pops and bangs Ktec map so would have been making some noise. Unfortunately I couldn't make it but will be along next time
Hi all,
A friend of mine has some covers on the rear of her sideskirts that look really neat IMO... They came with the car so no idea where they came from. I was wondering if anyone knows where these can be bought?
I finally got round to replacing the grimey, non working foglights last week. While under the bumper I also removed the acoustic valve, however couldn't tell any difference so I've popped it back on for the time being until I've got some time to give it a proper drive and comparison. Anybody...
dial looks cool... where'd you get that from? Also, why was there an advisory with that battery cover? Wouldn't mind making one myself... looks dead smart.
Apologies if I'm being thick, but I'm unsure how to remove the alarm sensors from the A pillars inside my PH2 182.
Taking off the A pillars is fine, and unscrewing the sensors, but I need to get the sensors off the A pillars without damaging them or the A Pillar itself, as I need to fit them...
Got my car back on the road at about 9pm this evening :) The ride is more harsh as to be expected and will take a little bit of driving to get used to, but feels dead tight in the corners. Unfortunately the tyres that came on the wheels are pretty much running on expiry, which compared to 4...
