I'll sort some out, it's been stood on a drive for 12 months, so needs a really good clean. There's loads of history and a fair bit has been spent on it.. hopefully it'll pass the Mot next week...😁
I've just bought a Clio 172 Cup, it could do with the cambelt doing and I'll get the water pump and dephaser sorted at the same. Has anyone got any recommendations for garages in the Worcestershire area?
Bit of a strange one I know, is it possible to swap Xenon lights to Halogen? I have a 53 plate Clio 172 with factory fitted Xenons that have been nothing but trouble. Is it possible to take them off and straight swap them for halogen, I'm sure there's a thread on it somewhere but I can't find...
All I've put on the car is exhuast, decat and performance filter. I did the same to my last clio and had the pops and bangs remap put on it from a. RS Tuner. Is the 98ron map any good?
I'm looking to have my Mk2 Clio 172 tuned, any ideas who would be best to take it to in Worcestershire/ West Midlands? With my previous car I paid someone in Worcester to use there RS Tuner and all was good, but he's left the Clio scene now, so I'm abit stuck.... Advice would be gratefully...
Fortunately he wasn't going that fast when it went, pistons have valve marks on them. Head has been fully reconditioned with new everything and all valves seated in...... Hopefully I'll be able to persuade Fred to help me out.... ;-)
I bought it relatively cheap and at the time had a highly qualified mechanic in line to put it all back together for me..... That's my problem, he's gone... :-(
Hello all, basically I've bought 172 Cup which was suspected to have a snapped can belt. I took the top of the engine apart and found that one of the tensioners/roller had broken into to lots of pieces.... 12 valves bent as a result!!! The head had been reconditioned all new valves, I've bought...
I've got a 53 plate Clio 172 cup, 70000miles, loads of history and only two owners. Car is in really good condition, but timing belt has snapped....... How much is it worth?
