Might have to pop mine along to Kwik-Fit...my Prospeed has developed a knock (very noticable on startup). Sounds like my symptoms are very similar to yours as mine is deffo not pulling as well at the moment.
Will keep you updated. Thanks for the tip.
Will get the work done at GDI. They have done all my mods and I have always been very happy with their service and workmanship.
Not sure of cost but would expect to be looking at a min of 1K with parts, labour and mapping session on Rolling Road.
The DS2500's are on the squeaky side although this only tends to be when cold...once warmed up they do quieten down.
I was thinking of going down the IK route but I plan to get some new CAMS fitted in the new year so it will need a remap then. May go for an IK at the same time so I can get to...
Think the DS2500's are excellent, bit noisy at times but overall braking is superb against the standard setup.
Can't really tell if the ITG made any difference but it can't be doing any harm.
The H&R's are excellent as well. Never driven a 182 with just uprated springs so cannot really...
So far, H&R Coilovers (lowered about 35mm), ITG filter, Prospeed exhaust with Decat, Inlet Matched and SMT6 with remap. Also have Brembo HC front disks, ds2500 pads and braided brake lines.
Have to arrange another meet at South Mimms as we usually get a good turn out. Will sort something...
From Welwyn Garden City Brad but I work for a certain supermarket that has it's head office in Cheshunt so I'm up there a fair bit.
Will keep an eye for you and give you a wave..
I saw a Yellow 182 driving through Cheshunt highstreet last week I think. Was that you Brad?
Was in my mates company Passat estate (babe wagon) so did not bother waving else you would have thought me a nutter :D
Chris
Live in WGC myself. Will keep an eye out for you all.
Have a Silver 182 so give me a wave if you spot me(lowered with Prospeed exhaust).
Think I have seen the Blue 182 round Mundells. Massive sticker on the back, silver wing mirrors, Lexus lights and 17" rims.
Chris
You can also try Predator Exhausts in Welwyn Garden City. Have not seen one on a Clio but a friend had one made for his Mondeo ST24 and it was very nice indeed..good sound (although the V6 may have helped..lol).
Chris
Even in the RS models you cannot select all the air vents. If you select the air to pump to the Windscreen it will automatically switch off the forward facing vents. I think you should stick with what you have..
Chris
I believe this is what you found with my car wasn't it Andy??? You actually made it run leaner near the top end?? (as you can tell, I know exactly what I am talking about..lol)
Chris
Just as a warning, you might have problems if you get a hand-set with a built in receiver because of the heat-reflecting windscreen...for best results the receiver needs to be lined up with the rectangle at the base of the windscreen.
Chris
Had a similar things but unfortunately the Chav was in a jumped up Clio...big bodykit, big wheels and big noise (1.4 though)..
We both enter the slip road onto the motorway so I thought I would display him a clean pair of heels..get up to 80mph and ease off into the left hand lane and begin...
Thx all..
Bluenose....if you look in the side pic you will see a small Cliosport sticker in the rear window..it only increases power by 5bhp although I have one each side so I am hoping for at least 10bhp ATW...lol.
That's my car. VERY happy with the results. The throttle response is now much improved at low rev's and it now just keeps revving to the limiter....before it would tail off a bit at the top end.
I will be getting some Cams later this year when finances allow to hopefully get the magic 200...
Thanks for all the comments guys and gals..
Paul - Exhaust is superb although I am going to change it at some point and move to one with a single silencer which is hidden from view.(still a Prospeed one). GDI currently have one fitted to their demo car. If you have a chat with Andy, he should...
Finally got around to taking a few pics. Sorry about the quality but I am no photographer. The exotic location I chose is the outside of my house.
Before the comments 'it needs to be lower', it has only be lowered 30mm otherwise I will need to remove the front bumper when I want to get on...
