That's exactly what I was thinking, it's been on CLIP, had the throttle body cleaned and shows no faults.
Will have to take a day of work to try and resolve this issue.
Dont want any names just yet, I have contacted them and now they believe its a solenoid causing the problem.
somehow I doubt this.
The way it's being dealt with I'm losing confidence and still think the dephaser pulley is at fault. Specialist claims he has never come across one going wrong...
