The custom cages link is good as it shows that the front leg (as per the SD dash dodger) is compliant As is the Ktec cage and others to boot.
I can only assume someone has had a shunt and subsequently an investigation to create this type of a stir ... my thoughts as per a previous post is that...
Interestingly, I'm looking for a bit of assistance ... it's always been a bit it a mare to race on my tod, could be nice to have a keen pair of hands to help out. I can't offer much but ... tea and food all day entry are guaranteed all day lol entry is covered too! If you want a crack I'm at...
Rules don't look changed for what I remember... and I'd suggest that the Daniel is right in that the MSA don't suggest how close to the A Pillar the leg is required to be. It's a bit ambiguous to me

Really ... I need to read the guidance in the Blue Book but sure that means some 50%+ of Clio race cars face modifications for 2017. Classic MSA

... You won't really need a brace to be honest, I'm had the PMS on my first clio with Spax RSR and my current setup feels better.

Gaz golds come with camber bolts and you can get their solid mounts too ... £ for £ they're good value.
My Spring rates are 500lb front and 400lb rear

It's not tyres chap ... It's brakes but the clio is so good I'm still on standard brakes with Ds3000 pads ... And you can go even more aggressive.
I came off a clio to a Mini Cooper S as I couldn't get my weight lower enough (I had an enormous roll cage setup) so opted for BHP with the mini...
Silly question, what the weight and bhp currents of your 182 ??
I'm racing with the TDT and TDC and have done something similar in that I've come out of class B into C which is 150bhp per ton.
In MSVR it's BHP at the Hubs, in on a 172 with 162bhp on the hub, I'm racing a declared weight of...
So, my car had toe in ... 3mm each side :
I've now added 60mins shim to the rear to create toe out... This is what I wanted to achieve, I like the car to be loose(r) however, I'm racing at Brands on Sat and thinking I might have taken it too far.. Is it??
Any comments ?? What are racers...
I keep it nice and simple... Power is shared for the blower and RL on a fused feed... Will be enough for the Camera Feed too.
The window can used the same type of switch but rather than a on/off grays do a momentary switch to suit the up and down signal.

The pic is a few months old ... It's a bit further along, I specially left the top section open and have installed my laptimer there.
I'd say that perhaps the switches should be a tad higher in the panel... If I hit third on the a downshift I have caught the blower switch on occasion...

Ok ... Right to left, rainlight, hazards, blower ... The next is my power supply for front facing camera and then the last will be rear facing camera.
Big red button is isolator (battery cut off on a solid state solenoid)

In answer to the 200bhp per ton, it's possible... A ported inlet and cat Cams have seen a 196@fw and a car is super close to 1040kgs including driver and race fuel. Add a budget for a diff and you'll be enjoying a suitable track car and keeping a lot of bigger horse power cars honest with corner...
Hi guys,
Was on a search for a diff for a Clio 172 and came across the Mfactory diff, I was wondering if anyone's used them and what the feedback was ?

Indeed, the risk is in the damage, whether it's worth putting a clio in a jig rather than re-shelling, I guess that depends on how bent it was, again if that was me I'd see what happens given its a "rental"... As long as the car felt and handles ok then I'd not be too fussed... Screens are...
Thanks Steve for your thoughts ...
I didn't offer up any numbers nor the package, it's not entirely critical in my opinion and any moderate risk can be covered.
My experience at novice level is that there is general requirement for a service for an arrive and drive without all that you list ...
I've taken a Clio as trade in on my race mini, ordinarily I'd use it myself as a race car but Sod's law dictates I've got a track Clio just the week before to be my current race car... So I was thinking of doing the cage & bits and make it into a race car for an "arrive and drive" package, has...
