Yeah that's the bit, couldn't remember the name that's why I said about the studs lol
awesome, cheers Fred! I'm assuming front drive flanges (from the laguna) though yeah?
cheers
What car are they from? I'm assuming they're not custom for the v6...
my old wheel studs have stripped the threads out and I need a new pair of hubs. New or used I don't care..
Help!
Fred, that is a very generous offer that I may have to take you up on! I'm actually not that far from you, maybe 30-40 mins but well worth it to have the right tools. Thank you so much
thats the very pinnacle of forum spirit right there
cheers sharky!
It came up on Gumtree of all places lol I wasn't even in the market for one but it came up at a price I couldn't miss out on. So two hours after he'd advertised it I'd put a deposit down and picked it up the following day. :o
Lol yeah they're terrible, they've been on there since 2004 though so I suppose they were ok at the time... Unfortunately it's got matching fronts too:banghead:
I've just signed up to the v6clio forum too. I'm an mot tester/mechanic by trade anyway so cambelt shouldn't be a problem. I'm just weighing up whether I can do it in situ or not. I've heard it's engine out, but I've got the hands of a schoolgirl so if its physically possible I'll do it lol
