I am not sure if there are many Swiss peeps on here. But I spotted a Silver Mk1 172 with different alloys and 2 massive pipes sticking out the back. It was parked by the Mercat Galvany. Just on the off chance........................

I agree. defintely the way to go.
But if you are wanting some track action, go for a Trophy as that is a lot better than a FF on the twisties.
One thing: Can anyone explain to me the point of the 182 Cup? To me it seems a waste of time.
I have owned both and went from a full fat to a Trophy. The difference was noticable on cornering, especially around roundabouts. But I must admit, I did miss my full fat after about 6 months, for everyday life. The xenons, climate control and 6 CD changer made the difference to me.
Ditto the above. If you are actually going to make use of the uprated suspension on a track get a trophy, or indeed if you like the red colour. Otherwise a full fat 182 is such a sweet purchase.
IMHO you should use Optimax or Ultimate or similar. There are a couple reasons I can see:
1) These fancy fuels have cleaning agents. It is a fact that a clean engine runs better. Over time, if you do not use these fuels, the performance of your engine will drop as the buildup around the...
I kind of think I know what you mean Matt, if I am reading between the lines correctly. All I can say is don't do anything rash just yet due to these circumstances. Wait for a couple of weeks more. If you still feel the same way, then do it and don't look back.
