havent actually been on this thread for a while as the car has been sold, but thought i'd chuck up a picture of what replaced her
hopefully the new owner will start a thread on here and keep things update
so much for the story continuing 😂 after deciding i was gonna keep the car and work on her ready for the summer a boy text me on wednesday night asking if he could come view the car today, he turned up this morning, test drove it and 20 mins later the car was gone and i had a pocket...
well after a few time wasters including one which decided to vanish off the face of the earth the day they were supposed to collect the car I gave myself until today to see if the car went as there were a set of team dynamics pro race 1.2s on ebay with tyres which had obviously been missed by...
Cheers Sam
Hopefully getting a 1 series
Loved the clio and wouldn't surprise me if I come back to an rs in a few years but fancy something a bit different and a diesel is gonna be better for the motorway miles I do
we'll it looks like this is the end for ruby, had her for nearly 2 years so its time to trade her in and move onto something new
amazed to think its the same car I bought in 2013
just thought i'd post up a few photos of how she's looking now
new owner should be coming up from Bristol tomorrow to...
not sure if im gonna sell so just testing the water as what it might be worth

Plus you don't see as many Leon's about either
If you've thinking about a quick diesel have a look at the civic type s, about a second quicker to 60 than an a3 tdi and a stage 1 remap takes them to 193bhp
Last time we spoke you were talking about an audi next, from what I've heard though the Leon's are supposed to be quick
Think I'm gonna hold onto mine until after CSS and then perhaps sell up and start a new project
I know what you mean, I basically had the option of putting the back into a railing or the front into a banking and a bumper is cheaper to repair than a rear quarter panel so it was the lesser of 2 evils
You gonna be selling the clio? I've been tempted to get rid of mine and start a mk1 mx5...
Yeah really bad up here the roads were like glass, gutted when it happened but couldn't be helped and just happy to see her whole again
Yeah I'm definitely still interested, PM me or drop me a text when you're taking them off with a price and if I can afford it at the time I'll have them
Cheers
so it's been a while since i've posted anything on here, with the winter weather and not having a garage not much has changed
unfortunately on Tuesday night while driving in the snow the car decided to have a fight with a banking and lost, result = smashed front bumper
luckily found a...
I've emailed them and also tried ringing but with no reply, I'll try again tomorrow
Hopefully they've just been closed over Christmas and they're on the way just caught in a backlog
After ordering my plate on the 22nd and the money coming out on the 23rd I'm still without my plates
Does anyone have a number for them other than the one on their website as there seems to be no answer when I ring, I'm happy to wait so long as I know they're on the way
Thanks
Haha hands of a surgeon I'll need
Gonna stick them on, I think the plates come with tape, but not sure how good it is so I might buy some aswell just to be safe
Anyone got any idea how long they usually take to arrive? They took payment on the 23rd so I expected them by now even with the Christmas break
If they don't come tomorrow I'll give them a ring in the new year
Thanks, just wondering as well, if I did get the standard rear plate and 3/4 front would the rear carry the eu code
Just thinking I might risk it as I think the 3/4 looks much cleaner in the recess and if I get any hassle I'll just get a standard front plate made later on
Looking to get a set of plates from fancyplates as mentioned on the forum
Just wondering if the 3/4 front plate (520x84mm iirc) would have the eu code or if it is only meant for show purposes?
Thanks
Best going for a custom job, the ktec replica systems aren't the best from what I've heard and you've have a lot more control in terms of sound/tip style
Came out of bowlplex in Treforest to see a trophy reg gn55amv putting my rep to shame
Just wondering who owns it, doubt it was a coincidence they parked next to me so hopefully they're on the forum
theres actually quite a few campus' on here, mine included
if you're gonna go for hid's you should consider picking up a set of projector headlights, and as for the exhaust i'd personally fit it into the bottom of the bumper, it gives a much cleaner look
all depends how extreme you wanna go but...
All the panels were done by a local sprayers called Alwyn Rees but as with anything the more you're willing to do the less it will cost so I did all the prep/filling and fitting myself
As for the exhaust it's a full custom prospeed system from Cardiff with a 200 cell cat, I bought it on here...
as plenty on here have said, try and ignore the hate that some people put out about having a non sport on here and you'll do fine
there's plenty of project threads on here in terms of non sports and so long as you know your way round a toolbox most of the work you can do yourself
also remember...
