Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
I just go with owning 5 evo's and other performance cars over the years, running them all on the strip trackdays and sprints.
Standard 172 ran 14.6 at the pod
standard X ran 13.2 at the pod.
What would a 280 bhp clio run .
This 360 ran 13.2 down the pod, crap over weight euro box wannabe 39K wasted ..lol
think my old 2.8i was as fast.
A good power clio would eat that x in a straight line once off the line.
Evo any day.
We let the scoobies 22b join our sprint series a few years ago, standard scoobies are between 5 and 10 seconds a lap of the standard evo's.
No evo love just plain black and white figures of day today cars with none pro drivers.
Just tried that and all I get is not recognised :banghead:

Oh and don't forget THE EVO TAX all parts and labour go...
Nice but I hope you have very very deep pockets :D
One thing buying them but it's another thing keeping them in tip top condition.
The twin plate clutch in mine cost more than the clio..lol
No matter what folk say they are a money pit, I should know I have had 6 of them, great cars and...
Can I ask what terminals you are getting with these times.
I have never ran a clio but Northy who I bought it off ran it at the pod and got a 14.9, that sounds about right to me.
I have ran my evo loads of times over the years and find a good 60ft will give a faster time but lower terminal...
A new 172 owner here from the east midlands.
I bought Northy 8's black 172 off him a few weeks ago and must say I am some what impressed with it just needs more power :)
Here it is with it's new stable mate.
