0-100 for the v6

hey up everyone quick uestion what is the 0-100 time of the new v6 and old v6..cheers

Yup...

Mk1 V6:

0-100 - 17.0secs

Mk2 V6:

0-100 - 15.8secs



To compare...

Mk1 172:

0-100 - 18.2secs

Mk2 172:

0-100 - 18.9secs

Cup 172:

0-100 - 17.7secs



Problem is, the V6s do not feel as fast as they actually are!

cheers for that mate..bloody hell didnt realise the cup was that quick to 100..jesus....REALLY nothing in it a suppose on the open road..plus a good driver a cup (like you) could have a v6 for sure..what are the 0-100 for the wrx scooby and mini cooper s,civic type r and saxo vts???

The mk1 V6 vs Cup is a close call as Ive been there and done that...

The mk2 is quicker and handles better than the mk1, so Id not be as confident!



As for the other cars >>>

Impreza WRX (new):

0-100 - 16.9secs (but Evo timed one as 18.3secs)



Mini Cooper S:

0-100 - 21.3secs



Civic Type R:

0-100 - 16.7secs



Saxo VTS:

0-100 - 22.6secs

bloody hell the saxos are quite slow top end arent they...cant believe the civic is that must quicker..what a machine...what difference would a viper, ecu and exhaust make to the standard times for the cup mate?

They are just figures mate... in reality all cars differ, as do the drivers...

For example, my Cup has run the 1/4 mile in 14.5secs @ 94mph, so my 0-100 time is not gonna take a lot longer and certainly way quicker than the 17.7secs time I gave above!

Then people like TimO & chris n nic (with R-Sport, zorst, de-cat & filter) are running 14.0secs & 14.1secs @ 98mph, so their 0-100 times are gonna be really quick!!!
