what sort of times have people got at santa pod in a 172

not been to santa pod, ive done a 14.7 at York, thats standard with rear seats out.

Other times are 14 dead @ 99mph and slightly slower depending on mods.

fastest one so far, that we know of anyway is Timo at 14 dead, he even folded his wing mirrors in on that one! Crazy bastid.

Your average 172 will not do high 14s.

ul be lucky to hit low 15s in ur average 172

btw the 14.1 of chris an tim os 14.0 are not exactly standard cars lol

both chipped with de-cat i believe.

paddys i would say is about the quickest standard mk2 172 with rhys mk1 172 just beating it at 14.5 werent it rhys?

Nah, the average is hovering around the 15secs mark...

My Cup ran 14.5secs @ 94mph with only a Viper, chris n nic ran 14.1secs and TimO ran 14.0secs, both @ 98mph, both with filter, R-Sport ECU, zorst & decat.

But in general, standard 172s are running mid/low 15s

the de-cat on my willy knocked about0.4/5 secs off my 1/4 time, along with panel filter
