15's or 16's 1.2

I have 4 172 alloys at home but they need tyres, will the 16's make the 1.2 even slower on acceleration ? And will it be very noticable ?
Cheers

15's give you cheaper tyres which is a bonus.

But, I do think 16's look better and realistically, a 1.2 is all about the looks.

I agree, im not really keen on 15's, especially these expression wheels. Plus ive already bought the 172 alloys now so it would be a waste.

15's look great on 1*2's with loooows. But for looks alone, 16's ftw. Tyres aren't a particular concern on a 1.2 either... It's not like you're going to be shredding a pair of fronts on a track day.

Proxes Kane.

If you can get hold.

Ive put some on the F1's and the difference is brilliant compared to budgets.

I had Toyo TR-1s on my 1.4 on 15s and they were awesome. I gave that car some serious abuse, especially in the corners and the tryes lasted around 15k!!! (I did swap fronts to rears after around 7k though)

T1-R-s are pap in the wet/grease! On a dry road they're good, but PE2's are far better all rounder.

My T1-R's on the rear have lasted about 15k, and still have 6mm of tread on them.
