what are the lowest profile tyres you can get for 16" alloys ? ive just bought some r19 16v alloys and they have 205 55 r16 tyres on them they dont fit on my mk1 clio though does any1 know if they will fit with a lower profile tyre ? anybody know of any where for cheap tyres ?

Standard r19 16v alloys are 15" (well the mk2 ones are) what ones you got ?? Are they proper Renault ones ?

They are Megane rims - not R19 16v ones !
The look a lot like the r19 16v (phase 2) and ph2 valver wheels, but they are 15"
