1st MOT and 36k service

Cars going in for its 1st MOT on Fri, anything I should look at before I do? common faults and failures? Its on 36K at the moment Im taking it for a service as soon as I get a good price aswell. God help me...pls.

Sorry, Im in work flat out at the moment, havnt had chance to have a look yet. Ill have a gander ltr tonight...!
