Hi all.
First time ive ever done something like this,
but basically just got a Renault Clio 2003 1.2L for my 18th, and as iv'e been studying mechanics in college i fitted an aftermarket radio too it, it all went fine apart from the fact the radio didn't save its time or any radio station, so being young and eager i thought i would have a crack at it, and somehow have managed to blow something, i can't turn the radio on, the display at the top of the dash has turned off completely.
i have checked the fuses and they are fine, i've put a multimeter on to the radio connections and there is a supply voltage there, i've tried the original radio back in it and still no joy, the display on the dash does have a blown bulb but surely that can't be the problem? when the system did blow i thought i could hear a pop from underneath the dash, not sure if there is a fuse i don't know about or if i've really screwed it up :/
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
