1st wash of the ph1!

Realised that since ive had the ph1 from way back start of november time i havnt washed it, but then its only been on the road for a couple of weeks so not so bad!

So decided id give it a wash today

Now by no stretch of the imgaination am i a proper car cleaner of a photographer or do i have a good camera so be gentle!

The car did take some scrubbing to get ALOT of tar of it and it really needs a good claying and polish but better weather will determine that!

The pics do show my new pro speed exhaust which i had done this week It also shows the butcherd bumper which i have to say wasnt pro speed the section they cut out fits PERFECTLY for a 182 surround as they used an old one to shape it and once i have a new rear bumper thats what will be happening

As some may have noticed charlie and the guys have positioned the tailpipe at the bottom of the back box this time so less is visible from the rear of the car! I really am chuffed with the exhaust and have nothing but praise for the guys

Pics also show another of turners footrests! One of the easiest mods ive ever done but really quality bit of kit and makes a big difference! and yes i know it needs a hoover!

Next up on the plans are:

Ph1 or 2 Rear bumper with 182 exhaust surround sprayed up, at the same time tailgate lock smoothed aswell as debadge and smooth the holes.

20mm front and 10mm back spacers are on order

New front components

Re arrangement of the boot for more space!

I like it, nice mods there. I'm not keen on the gdi sticker on the bonnet. The exhaust looks great I bet you can't wait to get a new rear bumper on the car.

Yeh ludaprixs old car, bought it off him back november but still had the ph2 so had to sell that 1st!

Im going up to GDi next week so im gonna see if they have any different stickers as i still want one somewhere to break it up abit, but agree i aint to keen on them! Did have them on side and rear window befroe i took them off!

Im gonna put the meg splitter back on 2moro and see what it looks like now!

Hopefully sorted a ph2 bumper out 2day aswell but if not the ph1 has grown on me since having the exhaust done!

hey that's my carbon fibre engine cover, sold it Rick last year. iirc they are the only gdi stickers they do, and are currently outy of stock as I'm waiting for some to come in myself.

My car is @ GDI as we speak, can't wait to get it back.

S666MAH how longs your car at GDi for, im going up wednesday so could have a look out for it!

The seer, im not overly keen on the ICE either but it is nice to have abit of sound as its been a while since ive had a sub and that, but eventually it will all be replaced and installed better.

Have hopefully sorted a Ph2 bumper so should be on soon

Although theres lots of other 172s on turinis they really do look good!

And as for that boot build, it did apparently have the same but then the battery needed mounting so it had to move.

I think eventually i will move the battery to the wheel well doing away with teh spare and try and mount the amp on the back of the seat or doa simply little install!

The car looks subtle and 'factory' to the untrained eye apart from the splitter

There's another subtle splitter available thats much cheaper than the Cup version part number 7700426531 approx £80 new

i hit the splitter alot in a multistory carpark today, so what ever splitter i get it either needs to be no more than a few mm deep or flexible like the current one, or no splitter of course!
