2 mile race

Me and a couple of my mates are going to have a race on this 2 mile runway near us, (yes its a proper runway not the M62).

The cars are my clio cup, an MGF VCC and a MR2 Roadster.

Its all going to be in a straight line, I think I will win in the end but these RWD cars may get the better start, after 80 MPH I think I will have them.

What do you guys think?

Sounds abit silly to me... why would you wunna race in a straight line for 2miles ? i wouldnt waste the petrol. Never saw the point in rev your car to the limiter in 5th

I agree.... Why would you want to race in a straight line for 2 miles... Its not a race.... And donkey can press the gas to the floor. Plan some country roads and learn them during the day then race during the night!! Got to have over taking places though

Ben its not like your going to stop in the middle of the motorway and do a few hand brakes is it...... Not crisisim its just I dont see the point in a flat out race coz itsjust the car with the highest top end that will win... no driver skill what so ever...

Oh dear... One minute people on here say clios are for cornering.... The next you say lets race in a straight line.... Anyway I dont really care what people do in their cars, but im allowed to express my opinions thats the idea of a forum. You lot do not say much for a CTR which is going to be my next car, I take note but im still going to get one.....

Right the Airfield is in Leconfield near Beverley E.Yorkshire.

Its on an Army camp where they do driver training, but the airfield is not used you would need dome Forces ID to get onto it.

I will film it.
