34k mile 172

Hi and thanks for the add.

I have just picked up my first performance Renault in many years, prior to this back in the day I had a Gordini Turbo (front wheel drive) and the not so exciting 19 Chamade 16 valve.
Just picked up today a little hot hatch bargain in way of an immaculate early 2001 172 with just 34k miles, drives like absolutely new! Very excited about spending some time on her and getting her up to a high standards. Was flame red a pretty rare colour?

It is a deep metallic red, is there a paint code I can look for on the car that will confirm it. might not be flame red????

3 pictures for the price of 1, getting used to this set up lol. Is this the fabled Flamer Red, to be honest it is the first red Clio 172 I have seen this colour. Needs a bit of work to get things tidy but really happy with how it drives.

To be honest it went well but dropped a big end when it wheelspun on a wet patch on the road, literally a day after I fitted a £350 sports exhaust on it. Total loss lol.

Ah man that looks excellent! When I used to settle insurance claims Jersey an almost impossible to market to value because cars were such low mileage!

Wing looks flat along the top too, but that may just be shadowing.
