45’s or 50’s

im gona be getting my 15" alloys within the nxt couple of weeks and im wondering if fitting the lower profile tyre actualy does make much difference. the reason i ask is that the 45 profile tyres will lower the car an extra 5mm as they are smaller than the standard wheel, and the cars pretty low as it is, and if i go for the 50 profile, it will slightly raise the car.

whats peoples opinions?

what type of wheels have u got? thinking of getting a style that goes out to the edge like fox 1 evo in crystal or bk racing 166

on a 16v 195/50 are fine, on a non 16v you would be better with 195/45 if you are planning on lowering it as they wont scrub.

They might not with 195/50 but more likely to. I have 195/45/15s lowered 55mm at front and about 70mm at back and with 4 up on full lock there isnt any catching or rubbing.
