4870 x2 Sideport

Any one know when they will be releasing the driver to open up the sideport on the 4870 x 2 card to allow the two gpus to talk direct?

Already does. Has done for a long while.

Which package version am currently on 8.12 and nothing in release notes about it being added and last time i spoke to some one from ati they said it was being held back until the release of the new nvidia card.
