I love originality but the Phase 2/trophy spoiler is a huge improvement! Gives a mean look which it lacks slightly as is but still a gorgeous car!:up:

I have been on the lookout for a trophy spoiler but I haven't stumbled across one yet.

As for the photos I know everyone has had it up to the eyeballs with edited pics but I thought it highlighted the cars lines nicely without going over the top so thought I'd stick them up.

Took the car in for a full respray yesterday, bumpers and bonnet off, lights out etc so I'm hoping it turns out nice.

I put it in to have a full front end respray as it had a lot of stone chips, when I went to pick it up I wasn't 100% happy with it so after speaking the manager he agreed that it wasn't as i asked for (perfect) so it was taken to Brewsters in Billericay who have talked me into going the whole hog.

They are very professional and do mostly brand new Hyundai's that have issues so fingers crossed it'll be worth it.

Good point but they did say they would completely start again.

Although a bit of extra weight at the front could be considered a bonus

I'll be surprised, unless you're paying a fair bit that they will spend all the time need to sand it back properly.

Problems with thick paint is, it'll chip and it will be way more orange peeley

Their words were that they would take it right back and start from scratch, I'm going to ask them if they can take some photos as they go for my folder so if they will it should show how much work they put into it.

I need a few bits doing on the impreza, but like you I'm fussy.

It was recommended by a few local people when I was asking about so my brother in law took his M3 in for a rear arch dent/scrape, they done the whole side for a good price and he was really happy with it as I would of been.
He's taking his Caterham there for a completely new colour scheme once he's finished some bits on it too.
The reason I didn't use them in the first instance is because I'm an impatient knob and didn't want to wait 3 weeks to get it in.

If you wait a few weeks I can be your crash test dummy lol.

Everyone keeps saying that to me but I've seen cars with it on and it looks manky when it's all chipped up, but it will save the cost of another respray I suppose.

Yes mate that'll be great if he's ok with it although as I said I was in no hurry I don't think they are starting until next week.

Did you see it mate? I've been at Disneyland so rang them on Tuesday for an update, it went in for painting yesterday.

I'm hoping it'll be ready before the end of next week as I'm away again.

Hey mate, no I haven't.

I went on the Saturday morning, I had Dave look at my car.

I did mention to him about yours and i was told that they where starting it on the Monday morning. [emoji2]

I've had to chase them up with the quote for mine, after a week I hadn't heard a thing. Phoned and spoke to Mark last Friday and even offered to take my car back for him to look at.

Mark said he would speak to Dave and get back to me, still haven't heard a thing.

However that Dave chap is a great guy and a proper petrol head, he isn't one of the painters but he specialises in the small bits like painting wheel's.
