After market aerials

Was thinking about getting one of these bee-sting aerials for my Cup. Do they affect radio reception? Is it better to just stick with the original one?

Ive got a silver richbrook on mine. Ask if ya wanna pic, ill go take one. Reception was only decent with the bigger of the extensions. Safe too from pikeys as its allen key galore to fit it

yeah richbrook ones are bit more expensive but they are lockable with a grub screw to stop thieving pikeys

true...just remeber to take it off if you go thru a carwash

i didnt when i had a clio extreme, ripped the aerial mount right off the roof...bugger!!

moral of the story...always wash your car by hand...or take the aerial off

Thats an mk1 though. I thuoght u were on about clio2mk2. thats what i have.

I have one on my Cup. Bought it from Halford, though had to take the first one back as it did not fit, exchanged it for one NOT designed to fit Renault and hey presto fits a treat.

Reception has deteriorated on some stations though.

It does fit! Its screws in with a seperate screw and then u tighten the screw to the aerial with an alan key. Also i would put glue in to make sure no one teeths it!
