Looking to lower my mk2 1.2 8v clio 60mm at the front. I can get the springs for a reasonable price and im just wondering what dampers to get? Are they specific to the spring ie. 60mm dampers for 60mm springs? Or can i buy any aftermarket ones? Cant really go coilover route because i bought ones off ebay which turned out to be 58mm spacing when i needed 52mm, ended up having to keep the rears for MOT and send the fronts back. Then a couple of weeks ago i bought a set of second hand set of vmaxx coilovers which the seller on ebay claimed to be 52mm but once again turned out to be 58mm, so just looking for a simple 60mm drop so the front will match the back.
