Air pipe

is it possible to make your own ind kit with samco and stainless pipe? has anyone try it, what size pipe do u need?

Ive done it with Samco before, looks good and flows air well, but very expensive to make up custom bends and lengths.

yeah, im thinking of doing this with a viper filter on the end, will save up first though!!!

Email these two companies.

One of them should respond, cant remember which one though.

www.flexibleducting.co.uk
www.flexiblehose.co.uk

I ordered it from 1 of these.
You will need to specify the length you need and the diameter. I can really recommend this stuff !!

I used part of a lorry exhaust and some rubber bends from a jetski exhaust to get the filter in the battery compartment. It works very well in there as its the ideal place to shield it from the heat.
I might try one of those companies if they can export stuff.

Air meter thingy? have I got one of those? There is a pipe which goes into the resonance chamber, dunno if thats it, also, theres a rectangled plastic sensor thing which had to be fitted to a metal strip on the header. could it be that?
My engines the 1.6e btw.

I used to have a Green induction kit but wasnt impressed. Also had a Green twister but that was pretty crap too, even if it was supposidly heat shielded.
A friend sent me the K&N kit and its much better IMHO. Better pick-up, sound etc. Go for K&N or pipercross... forget Green - the quality is abismal.
